We understand buying shoes and clothing online can be tricky, sizes differ across the many dance brands on the market.

We provide size chart guidelines for ballet, jazz and tap shoes, since they don't follow standard street shoe sizing. Other styles of dance shoes may also vary from standard street shoe sizes.

Prices

Dance Direct's online prices may differ from our physical store prices. Please call us before visiting our Maroubra shop if you'd like to confirm pricing.

Return policy

All returns should be posted back to Dance Direct, 192A Maroubra Road, Maroubra NSW 2035.

Please include a self-addressed satchel or a prepaid return label with your return.

If goods are cancelled or returned for a refund, a 10% restocking fee will apply. This fee won't apply if you're exchanging for a different size or product. We don't accept returns on bulk orders.

Return postage is paid by the customer. If you change your mind or simply made the wrong choice, we're happy to exchange the item, though you'll need to cover the postage. If the return is due to our error, for example we sent the wrong item, we'll cover all shipping costs instead.

Returns and exchanges must be made within 14 days of receiving your order. All returned items must be unused and sent back in their original packaging as supplied by Dance Direct Pty Limited.

We don't accept returns on hosiery or legwear, due to health regulations.

To return an item, it must first be authorised by Dance Direct Pty Limited. Once you've contacted us and received authorisation, log into your account, find the order under Complete Orders in the My Account menu, and click Return Item(s). We'll notify you by email once your return has been received and processed.

Faulty returns

All products are checked for faulty workmanship or materials before they're dispatched.

Dance Direct Pty Limited will accept the return of products purchased via the website if they're found, under normal warranty provisions, to have faulty workmanship or materials within 30 days of the date of purchase. This is limited to repair, replacement or refund at our discretion. Claims don't cover general wear and tear, or products used for anything other than their intended purpose. Using a product outside its intended purpose voids the warranty.

All warranty claims must be authorised by Dance Direct Pty Limited before return. To start a claim, email us at customerservice@dancedirect.com.au with a photo showing the fault.
