A pointe shoe for flexible arches with an unsecured heel shank

The Bloch Sonata is a pointe shoe for dancers with flexible arches. The shank is not secured at the heel, which reduces resistance past the break point and allows the foot to arch naturally at the three quarter. This gives a feeling of being well supported and uplifted en pointe.

The wide platform gives lateral support and balanced weight distribution, while a soft sponge cushion inside the box adds comfort and absorbs shock en pointe. Fine cushioning under the pleats softens the sound of the box.
